Welcome to the new Pre-School year! Firstly staff would like to say a massive thank you to the parents of our returning children for our gifts and cards. You’re all very generous and we feel extremely spoilt, so thank you! Secondly we offer a warm Pre-School welcome to the new families who have joined Pre-School this academic year, we hope to get to know you and your child better during the first half of the Autumn term.
Now for a couple of reminders, please remember to name all of your children’s belongings, coats, bags, lunchboxes and jumpers (especially if you have purchased some of our used uniform).
Drop off times are 8.45am, 11.45am and 12.30pm pick up times are 11.45am, 12.30pm and 3.30pm- please be as prompt as possible.
As some of you may/may not know Pre-school is a committee run group with charitable status, we rely on volunteer parents to form the committee and make decisions about budgets, finance and fund raising ideas. Meetings are held in pre-school on an evening approximately once every half-term. If you would like to come along to a meeting (with no pressure to join or sign up to anything) the next meeting will be advertised on the committee notice board along with a copy of the minutes from the previous meeting. If you would like any further information about what this involves please email Pre-school at the address below.
Could parents please return the education grant forms which came home last week as soon as possible, failure to do so may result in your child missing out on their free hours. It is also the responsibility of parents to apply and reconfirm eligibility for the free additional entitlement (often referred to as 30 hours), reminder emails are sent to parents from HMRC, and if parents do not reconfirm eligibility within the grace period then any hours booked above the free 15 hour entitlement will be billed for by Pre-School.
If you have any questions or queries about any aspect of Pre-School, please don’t hesitate to speak to your child’s key person or Vikky Campbell, no question is a silly question!
